GUESS Method

The GUESS Method is 5 steps to solving a written response question.G stands for given. The problem will give you specific numbers with units and variables that you have to use to try to solve the problem. U stands for the unknown. The unknown is what you are trying to figure out. E stands for equation. The equation is what formula you will be using to solve the problem. The first S stands for substitute. This is where you put your given variables and numbers into the actual equation to solve the problem. You must include all units and numbers! And finally the last S stands for solve. This is where you solve the problem and get your answer. You must complete the math.
