Speed and Velocity
Speed is the total distance traveled in a specific amount of time. Velocity is speed with a specific direction. One example of a time when i used my average speed was when i went running in the summer. My initial position was 3m and i finished at 27m in 4 minutes. My average velocity was 4 meters per minute. An example of instantaneous velocity is when im on the treadmill and i look at the speed that im going at and it tells me the exact speed.
