Electric Light
Today in physics, we had to make a little bulb turn on with just a battery and a wire. Seems impossible doesn't it? But its not and we proved that it is possible. To light the bulb, all you need to do is connect one end of the wire to the positive side of the battery and the other end of the wire to the metal part of the bulb but it still doesn't light up. Why? Because once you have both ends of the wire occupied, you have to connect the bottom end of the bulb to the negative end of the battery. I did all of this and the light bulb turned on. I think the light bulb turned on because energy traveled through the wire and since the opposites of the battery attract, it caused the light bulb to turn on.
