Distracted Driving

I think distracted driving is the most dangerous after drunk driving. When your driving  and you get distracted, you lose control of the wheel. Because the driver is distracted, they dont what they are driving into. They can easily run over someone or something because they are not looking at the road. For example, alot of kids these days cross the street without looking because either they are very young and they dont know or it could be a teenager with headphones and they're texting. If someone is driving a car and they get distracted because of an accident that happened on the street or something and they can easily not look at the road for a few seconds and then a little kid runs out into the street and the driver hits him/her. Something like that can happen in a matter of seconds just because the driver is distracted. One time that i was in a car with someone that was distracted was when i was on my way to school in the morning. My sister was driving my nephew and i to school and my nephew was arguing with my sister because he didnt want to go to school and my sister was trying to reason with him but he wasnt listening. She turned around for a slight moment to look at my nephew and she didnt realize that she was letting go of the brake and she hit the car in front of us. That happened in a blink of an eye. She was distracted because my nephew wasnt listening to her so in result she hit the car. I tried to tell her that she was going to hit the car but it was too late. I didnt really have a reaction to it because she had only tapped the car slightly.
